LOUIS VUITTON

What does the Louis Vuitton monogram mean?

Louis Vuitton was born in 1854 and represents one of the most admired and most copied brands in the world.

The idea of the monogram came to Georges, his son, who in 1888 first devised the Damier motif (beige and brown checkered motif) then the MONOGRAM Louis Vuitton.
It probably reflected the Japanese symbols, very popular at the time.

Shape the article

The symbol is composed of a flower with four round petals enclosed in a circle, a flower with four points, a flower with a diamond and the initials of the father.

The monogram canvas was registered in 1897 as a motif, and in 1905 as a trademark.

I remind you that the Louis Vuitton bags are all hand-made. I was recently lucky enough to see it done at the "TIME CAPSULE EXHIBITION MILAN" exhibition.

And what do you like about a Louis Vuitton bag model?
